Demetri was closer than any realized and could hear them talking inside.  He smiled hearing what the girl was saying.  She was very naive and innocent.  He was touched that she was trying to defend him and even save him , when she was the one who was in a bad spot at the moment. "What a strange human." He said as he was thinking about it.  She had given him her blood to save him.  She knew what he was and she still wanted to save him.  She actually cared for him.  Something he wasn't use to...  "I guess I should return the favor, and save my human." He grinned as he was going to keep her.  Something about her made him want to keep her around.

The priest pulled out a dagger as he was looking at Nattie, telling her that this was the only way, and that he was sorry it came to this, but it had really been her own doing... She looked at him freaked out when he held the blade up. {Priest}- This is how it has to be child... He said not really looking all that sorry, as he never overly liked her anyways.  Not trusting that she wasn't a demon already... He plunged the blade into her side.  She yelled out as he moved it a bit, making her bleed. {Priest}- He won't be able to resist now... He should be smelling the blood coming from you. He said feeling it was a good way to get him here, thinking once the vampire got inside the church he would be powerless.  Foolish on his part really.

As soon as he smelled her blood he started to move faster, not for the reason the priest was thinking.  Knowing that she was hurt, he didn't like that.  He busted through the door growling as he looked at the scene before him. "How dare you hurt her." He said as he rushed to the priest grabbing his throat and tossing him away from the woman.  He looked at her seeing she was bleeding from the side, and chained to the wall.  He gently touched the side of her face. "Sleep." He commanded as he kissed her forehead.  He didn't want her to see what he was about to do, he turned his attention to the priest who was getting to his feet, holding the dagger terrified. "I don't want her to see the monster that you know I am... " He moved quickly, as the priest dropped the dagger as Demetri had him by the throat. "How dare you try to take away what belongs to me." He said before snapping the wicked priest's neck.  He then moved to Nattie, pulling her free from the wall before he lifted her up and left with her.  Taking her to a cabin he had been living in for awhile.  He laid her in the bed while he was looking over... Getting rid of the dirty and bloody clothes.  He closed her wound and then gave her some of his blood to help her heal. "You're going to be alright." He smiled a bit seeing that she was already starting to look better.

She looked at him scared as he moved over her, he leaned down sniffing her neck a bit as she shivered trying to move. Nattie; ARe... Are you going to kill me?.

She looked at him as he leaned down untieing her, then lifting her up easily and running off with her.. It wasnt' much longer before they were away from the chuch but noticed that she wasnt' be taken to her home.. as he sat her down by a large cave that he had been staying in since he got here....

She sat down when he pointed to a spot for her as she felt the warmth of the fire, already starting to warm up as she was thinking about everything. Nattie: Thank you. She said as she sat there looking around the cave a bit..

She nodded as she sat there. Nattie: Alright She said sitting there as she held the coverers around her, she looked over at him when he said down there next to her. Nattie: What do you plan on donig with me? She wondered not knowing why he brought her here.

She smiled a bit. Nattie: Thank you. She said as she sat there thinking about everything, she felt him moving closer to her, but she didn't move when he pulled the blankets down a bit, she felt his mouth on her neck as she gasped a bit, closing her eyes when he bit her, not stopping her.  He wasn't hurting her or anything.
